Rodriguez at the Prague Quadrennial

The SCA's Wlad Antonio Woyno Rodriguez and Carmen Alatorre are co-curators of A Carrying Vessel, which is the Canadian exhibit in the Prague Quadrennial Exhibition of Countries and Regions, running June 8 – 18, 2023. Seeking to foster "new artistic life" from "the slow decay of traditional colonial theatre," Rodriguez and Alatorre are presenting a "designer’s studio, housed in a brutalist cube in ruins, from which new life will temporarily spring in the form of time-based artistic micro-interventions," featuring participation by Samira Banihashemi, Samay Arcentales Cajas, Jay Havens, Whittyn Jason, and SCA alumnus Nancy Tam.
