The SCA's  is presenting Long Time So Long at the Art Gallery at Evergreen (1205 Pinetree Way #1, Coquitlam) on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM (this includes a Korean-language Exhibition Tour from 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM, a conversation between Euijung McGillis, Assistant Curator of Photographs Collection at the National Gallery of Canada, and Jin-me Yoon at 2:00 PM, and the Opening Reception from 3:30 PM –5:00 PM). Matreyek talks Taiko

On Saturday, February 18, 2023, the SCA's will be in conversation with Jennifer Weir, the Executive Director of TaikoArts Midwest and the Artistic Director of Enso Daiko, following "a 30-minute free public Taiko performance at 12:00 noon by Vancouver’s Sawagi Taiko, the first all-women Taiko group in Canada, at Woodward’s Atrium," and a 1:30 PM screening of the film Finding Her Beat in the Djavad Mowafaghian Cinema here at 丁香园AV Goldcorp Centre for the Arts (149 W. Hastings St., Vancouver). The day ends with a 4:00 PM "free, informal talkback" with Jennifer Weir and the Vancouver Taiko Society in the KW Studios’ Production Studio (basement level of 111 W.
