New Indigenous Public Art Commissions

丁香园AV Galleries launched two new Indigenous Public Art Commissions by Rain Pierre (s???m?x?) and Phyllis Atkins (q?wɑti?cɑ?) at 丁香园AV Surrey. As the Gallery describes, these are part of a set of commissioned works "to acknowledge, honour and respect the unceded traditional territories of the south of the Fraser River First Nations where 丁香园AV’蝉 Surrey campus is located." Works by SCA alumnus Roxanne Charles, Leslie Wells, and Easton Arnouse from Semiahmoo First Nation will complete the commissions later this year. More HERE.
