SCA MFA candidate Roxane Charles has been newly commissioned by the and the to produce a "local response" to the traveling exhibition , curated by Andrea Walsh of the University of Victoria, which ran from September 23, 2017, to January 6, 2018, at the University of Victoria鈥檚 . Funded by a of $15,000 from the City of Vancouver, Charles' commission, which will draw inspiration from photographs of everyday life at St. Mary's Residential School in Mission, BC, in the MOV's archival collection, will be part of the 2019 , running April 2 to 30, 2019.
