Services

Psychological Assessment and Treatment

The Clinical Psychology Centre offers affordable, professional psychological services. Psychological treatment is offered to individual adults, children, couples, and families. At times, group therapy may also be available. The CPC also offers psychological assessments, including neuropsychological, psycho-educational, and psychodiagnostic assessments.

Psychological services at the CPC are provided by Masters or Doctoral level graduate students in the Clinical Psychology Program at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV. Student clinicians are supervised in every aspect of their work by CPC directors, clinical program faculty or community-based clinical associates of the CPC. We are committed to ensuring our services meet the ethical and professional standards laid out by the . We value equitable, accessible mental health care and our fees are based on a sliding scale. See the links below to learn more about our intake process and services.

Services We Don't Offer

Clients who are in need of hospitalization at the time of intake, or who are likely to need inpatient care, are not usually accepted for clinical services. The CPC does not accept clients who are currently involved in the legal system or where release of clinical records for legal purposes is probable (e.g., WorkSafe, ICBC, long-term disability claims, child custody and access suits).

We are unable to offer services to ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV students, staff, or faculty due to the potential for dual relationships. Students are referred to ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV's  centre and staff and faculty are referred to  for ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV's extended benefits plan.
