Sample PDP Applications
To help you craft your application to PDP, we provide three example applications with commentary. All three applications are fake (the names and all information contained in these samples are made up, using a good dose of imagination). These samples are designed to be decent, but imperfect. They have been reviewed in the same way that an actual application is reviewed. Included for each application are examples of the supporting documents applicants must provide (essay, resume, letter of intent, references) as well as a commentary that discusses their strengths and weaknesses and how they might be improved.
QUESTIONS?
If you have questions about the PDP not covered on our website, contact our admissions team.
Email: pps_admissions@sfu.ca (To prevent missing emails from us, add pps_admissions@sfu.ca to your contact list if you are not using an ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV email account.)
Phone: 778-782-3559
For questions relating to DELF-DALF certification, bursaries, and awards for studies in French, language support and student life in French, please contact ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV's Office of Francophone and Francophile Affairs. Service available in French and English.
Email: educprog@sfu.ca

Please note that all communication and interactions with the PPS ¶¡ÏãÔ°AVs office and Faculty of Education are considered part of the admissions process and are taken into account when considering applicants for admission. ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV may be denied to applicants who communicate in an unprofessional manner or who act in an inappropriate manner during the admissions process.
