MASTERS PROGRAMS
Curriculum & Instruction: Contexts of Diversity in French (MA, MEd)
Offered in French, this program focuses on the theme of diversity and inclusion. Students will explore, understand and apply current theories and research related to second language teaching and learning in Francophone minority settings. Students will also discover how to adapt their practice to diverse, multicultural and multilingual environments.
Curriculum & Instruction: Teaching and Learning in French: Plurilingualism, Francophonies and Education (MEd)
This four consecutive terms program, offered in French, focuses on the theme of diversity and inclusion. Students will explore, understand and apply current theories and research related to second language teaching and learning in Francophone minority settings. Students will also discover how to adapt their practice to diverse, multicultural and multilingual environments.

This program is designed for educators working with English as Additional Language learners in a variety of local and international educational settings. The program will provide students with advanced knowledge of theoretical, research and practical issues in teaching English language learners.

The Master of Education (MEd) program in Teaching Languages in Global Contexts offers graduate students from around the world an exciting learning opportunity focused on language education. The program is designed for students from a range of educational backgrounds and is strengthened by the diverse experiences and perspectives each student brings.

The Languages, Cultures and Literacies PhD program is offered in English or French language. The LCL core courses in English and French are similar in content and structure. Students taking the LCL PhD programs in English or French take core courses in their separate streams. Students from both programs may study together in the LCL Seminar, which students take during their first and second years. Faculty members from across the program may also collaborate in doctoral supervision.
