"I miss the environment. I can study quietly in the library without disturbance. I enjoy being on the Burnaby mountain campus."
I am a lecturer in the Faculty of Natural Sciences in the Open University of Indonesia (Universitas Terbuka/UT). UT is the only university in Indonesia which uses distance education to teach its students.
Please tell us how you first discovered your program.
My rector in the Open University of Indonesia advised me to register in this program.
Please tell us why you chose the Faculty of Education at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV for your studies.
The majority of my students are from the teacher training program, so I registered in the Faculty of Education to develop the program in my institution.
Who is a faculty member you have enjoyed working with and why?
David Kaufman is my supervisor. He always helped my friends and I during our study at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV.
What do you miss most about your graduate studies in the Faculty of Education?
The environment. I can study quietly in the library without disturbance. I enjoy being on the Burnaby mountain campus.
What would you say to prospective students who are considering graduate school in the Faculty of Education?
Keep in touch with your supervisor.
