I need hardly warn the reader that these words, as they are transmitted, can hardly be true.

 

2. Athenaeus: Lysias too fell for the courtesan Lagis (maybe La簿s?), for whom the rhetorician Kephalus wrote a eulogy.

Maybe "Lais" ?
