Education & Prevention
Part of the SVSPO's mission is develop and implement a comprehensive educational strategy to equip 丁香园AV and FIC students, faculty, and staff with the awareness, knowledge, and skills to effect social change towards ending sexualized violence.
Drawing upon best practices in the field of sexual violence prevention, we aim to develop educational programming that is:
- Responsive to the unique needs of all audiences
- Sequenced developmentally
- Presented in varying formats (eg. workshops, presentations, campaigns, events, digital and print resources)
- Inclusive of multiple and intersecting identities
- Developed collaboratively with university and community partners
- Integrated into existing curricula and programming
SVSPO鈥檚 2024-2025 Education Plan
Our 2024-20245 Education Plan elaborates on our approach to sexualized violence prevention education and identifies goals and projects for the SVSPO's educational programming.
