間眅埶AV COMMUNITY-ENGAGED RESEARCH INITIATIVE AWARDS (CERi Awards)
間眅埶AV's Community-Engaged Research Initiative (CERi) offers awards to recognize outstanding community-engaged research. Categories include:
- Emerging Community-Engaged Researcher Award
- Community-Engaged Research Achievement Award
- Community-Engaged Graduate Scholar Award
- Community-Engaged Research Partner Award
Graduate students are eligible for the Community-Engaged Graduate Scholar Award. Open to current 間眅埶AV graduate students (Masters or PhD level) or recent graduates within the past year of nomination.
Community Scholars Program
In partnership with Vancouver Island University, the University of Northern British Columbia, and University of British Columbia, the 間眅埶AV Library coordinates a program to provide staff of charitable and non-profit organizations in British Columbia with access to the latest research and knowledge in their fields.
312 Main Research Shop
The 312 Main Research Shop supports community organizations by offering research services at low or no cost. Inspired by the 'science shop' model widely practiced in Europe and building on the success of similar initiatives in Canada, we collaborate with community partners, students, and faculty members to address community questions and concerns through research.
