    In the face of the ever-expanding climate crisis, Canadians desperately need their public broadcaster to inform them of its causes, its solutions and the actions they can take to confront it. Quiet Alarm: A Review of CBC's Climate Reporting is a community-engaged research project conducted by CERi in collaboration with the Climate Emergency Unit aimed at improving the climate reporting of the Canadian Broadcast Corporation.

    This report documents a half-day workshop on May 17, 2023 that brought together local organizations/groups, researchers, students, and community members to generate ideas for a ‘climate justice research shop’ - a service model where community organizations can work with students and/or faculty members to develop research projects that address climate-related research needs for free or at a reduced cost .

    Experience the dynamic CERi-Participedia Summer School on "Radical Democracy" where leading experts, researchers, and graduate students joined forces with community leaders and activists to explore transformative ideas through workshops, discussions, and field trips. With 33 students from diverse social science disciplines and civil society backgrounds, they reimagined and practiced radical democracy for positive change in their communities and beyond, inspired by 29 guest faculty and practitioners, fostering new visions and impactful research.
