Pre-requisite map
Review SIAT undergraduate course requirements and learn how to move from lower level to higher level courses.
Please note: Two course maps are available below—the first one reflects all concentration and program changes effective as of the Fall 2024 semester. The second one maps the old concentrations and can be used by students enrolled into the IAT major prior to the Fall 2024 semester and who are choosing to complete their degrees in one of the three old concentrations (design, media arts, interactive systems).
Pre-requisite map (effective Fall 2024)
Use this course map if you will be completing one of the new concentrations (effective Fall 2024) or have enrolled in the SIAT program in the Fall 2024 semester or later.
More details about the new concentrations and program changes can be viewed here.
This map details the new concentrations and reflects program changes effective Fall 2024.
Old pre-requisite map (prior to Fall 2024)
This map is accurate through the Summer 2024 semester, however updates to our curriculum are coming for the Fall 2024 semester. The pre-requisite map below should only be used by students who have declared into the IAT major prior to the Fall 2024 semester and who would like to complete their degree in the design, media arts, or interactive systems concentration.
Pre-requisite course map for those completing their degrees in one of the three old concentrations (design, media arts, or interactive systems).
