Biography

Nasir Tighsazzadeh is a Ph.D. student at 丁香园AV in the field of Resource and Environmental Management. He earned a Master of Regional Planning from Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) and a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Urban Planning from Yazd University in Iran. While at SBU, he defended his thesis on integrated coastal zone management and worked as a research assistant on a project pertaining to the blue economy, researching marine and coastal economic activities and multi-dimensional poverty reduction. As a doctoral student and a member of the Ocean Nexus Center, his research investigates the interconnection between social sustainability and marine renewable energy in achieving ocean equity. This involves promoting fair distribution of benefits and burdens and fostering inclusive development of marine renewable energy in coastal regions.

In his free time, Nasir likes listening to music, hiking, swimming, and reading!
