PLAN 100 Introduction to Planning – 1 TA Position
Compensation: 3.17-4.17 BUs: $4,508-$5,940 (GTA1)/ $5,198-$6,860 (GTA2)
Location: Burnaby Campus
Duration: May 12 to June 27, 2025 (Intersession)
Instructor: Laura Tate
Qualifications: Knowledge of community and environmental planning issues (transportation, housing, climate change, food and agriculture, placemaking) demonstrated by equivalent combination of experience and academic work sufficient to interpret the course material.
PLAN/REM 319 Environmental and Planning Law – 1 TA Position (Marking and Assessment Consultation)
Compensation: 3.17 BUs: $4,508 (GTA1)/ $5,198 (GTA2)
Location: Burnaby Campus (In person)
Duration: May 12 to June 27, 2025 (Intersession)
Instructor: Devon Page
Qualifications: Knowledge of environmental law in British Columbia; a strong background in sustainable resource management theory, including public policy/planning, conflict resolution, urban challenge, institutional and legal issues demonstrated by equivalent combination of experience and academic work sufficient to interpret the course material.
REM 100 Global Change – 2-3 TA Positions (Marking and Assessment Consultation)
Compensation: 3.00-5.00 BUs: $4,296-$7,160 (GTA1)/ $4,986-$8,310 (GTA2)
Location: Online
Duration: May 12 to August 27, 2025
Instructor: Scott Harrison
Qualifications: Knowledge of sustainable resource management theory: global problems, international economy, energy, industry, urban challenge, institutional and legal issues.
REM 320W Ethics and the Environment – 1 TA position (Marking and Assessment Consultation)
Compensation: 3.17-4.17 BUs: $4,508-$5,940 (GTA1)/ $5,198-$6,860 (GTA2)
Location: Burnaby Campus (In person)
Duration: May 12 to August 27, 2025
Instructor: William Niver
Qualifications: Knowledge of environmental ethics, including topics like justice, sustainability, or the various moral frameworks employed by scholars and policymakers. Strong academic writing.
