Biography
Emma has contributed to REM as a student rep and engagement in collaborative research to help improve the REM experience for students. Her research is focused on the interface of climate policy and public engagement. In her masters, she did a comparative modelling of the climate pledges and promised climate policies of Canada’s four main federal political parties, which formed the basis of a widely cited and used Policy Options paper. For her PhD, she has already completed one paper exploring the effect of climate policies in Canada and the US on the economic and environmental performance of each country. In her free time Emma loves to travel, explore the outdoors, and play euchre.
