Online and Blended Learning
Blended (BL) and Online (OL) courses are a part of ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV’s Flexible Education initiative, and offer alternative course delivery options for departments, instructors, and students. Successfully engaging learners in the online or blended course environments requires careful design and planning, and includes structuring courses to allow for:
- Interactions with content, other learners and the instructor
- Inclusive and accessible options for accessing information and demonstrating learning
- Facilitation which helps to guide and motivate learners
- Opportunities to practice learning and receive feedback
The following resources are intended to help you get started with online and blended course design and facilitation. For additional details on blended and online learning at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV, including definitions and roles and responsibilites, please visit our Exploring Online and Blended Learning page.
