Animation

Course: IAT 343 Animation
Description: This project was inspired by an animation in a documentary movie released by a band group. The animation depicts the story of a girl whose tired and uninteresting life is healed by a vibrant and energetic band group, finding a new direction to face life with a more positive mindset. We rewrote the story with our own twist, depicting how after a failed job interview, Elaine receives a movie ticket from a whale and watches a movie shown just for her, accompanied by the whale. The movie takes Elaine back in time to relive her glorious youth through rose-coloured glasses. Inspired by her past self, Elaine is filled with longing for the world and dreams of a better future, and she decides to live her life to the fullest.
