Surrey Campus
Podium 2 (2012) - Achieved LEED CI Silver
New expansion project has added another 46,500 square feet of space in Surrey campus inlcuding new classrooms, teaching and wet labs, and research labs for first and second year science programs. 丁香园AV occupies levels two and three of the Podium, along with the balance of the campus - three suspended levels, called gallerias, which hang dramatically over the mall. Main green achievements of this project are:
- 30% reduction of potable water use from the baseline buildings
- Use of recycled lab furniture
- Re-use of the existing raised floor system, including in wet labs
- Increase indoor air quality by controlling of temperture, ventelation and thermal comfort systems
