Hot work
Hot work refers to any activity with an open flame or spark generating potential.
Before conducting Hot work activities at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV, all contractors and trades must attend an orientation session. Hot work permits are available at the Facilities Services building or Discovery 1 building from the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) representative. A 24 hour request notice must be provided to ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV EHS before permits are issued.
