Confined spaces
¶¡ÏãÔ°AV requires the following for confined space safety:
- Risk assessment
- Site documentation
- Worker training
- Site orientation
WorkSafeBC requirements for confined space are stringent. Both ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV and WorkSafeBC require that a risk/hazard assessment of the space be conducted prior to any entry of a confined space. The risk/hazard assessment must be completed by a qualified person as defined by WorkSafeBC. ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV requires that any ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV person requiring to enter a confined space, must be properly trained for confined space entry and for the tasks. Any person require to enter ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV confined spaces must contact ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV EHS: 778.782.3867 prior to conducting any entries. Contact must be made within 1 week prior to work in the confined space.
