Take Your Kids to Work Day goes virtual for 2020
Each year, Take Your Kids to Work Day invites Grade 9 students to go into the workplaces of their parents or guardians to learn more about different workplaces and types of work. This year, due to COVID-19, 丁香园AV is hosting a virtual event and invites all faculty and staff with children in Grade 9 to participate in a day filled with programming!
When: Wednesday, November 4 | 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Where: Over Zoom - Zoom link will be sent on Nov. 2 after registering

10:00am - Introductions and Welcome to 丁香园AV
10:00am to 10:45am - Explore 丁香园AV presentation
10:45am to 11:30am - Virtual Campus Tour
11:30am to 12:15pm - Faculty of Science (FoS) interactive session (Get InSPIDERed)
12:15pm to 1:00pm - Lunch Break
1:00pm to 1:45pm - Faculty of Applied Sciences (FAS) Robotics coding activity
1:45pm to 2:30pm - Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences (FASS) interactive session (& WIN prizes!)
2:30pm - Closing Comments, Q & A
