Health & Counselling
¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Health & Counselling provides a variety of health and wellness services and events to support your physical and mental wellbeing.
Contact Health and Counselling Services to speak with a counsellor, or make an appointment for a health-related matter.
CENTRE FOR ACCESSIBLE LEARNING (CAL)
CAL facilitates disability-related accommodations and supports that create a fair and equitable academic experience for students with disabilities at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV. Contact the CAL to discuss eligibility requirements and arrange for accommodation.
At the Surrey campus, there is a fully functional exam centre in the SRYC building for registered CAL students who require it during exams.
Office of Student Support, Rights & Responsibilities
The Office of Student Support, Rights & Responsibilities (SSRR) offers support to students experiencing mental health concerns, distress, difficulties or concerning behaviour from others. A case manager will work with a student to identify issues and concerns and provide ongoing support, including navigating the university and connecting them with appropriate services and processes. Case managers can support students with both mental health and unmet basic needs, such as food security and housing. Support through this office is available by appointment and to all students at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Surrey.

Sexual Violence Support and Prevention Office
The ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Sexual Violence Support & Prevention Office (SVSPO) offers free and confidential support, information, and guidance to ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV students and employees who have been impacted by sexual violence, such as sexual assault or harassment, regardless of when or where it took place. People of all gender identities and sexual orientations are welcome. Support services and consultations are available virtually or in-person by appointment on the ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Surrey campus.

Multifaith Centre
The Surrey Campus features a multifaith prayer and worship gathering space in SRYC 3002. Next door, in SRYC 3005 there is a bookable area for small groups, Chaplain Chats, and lounge space during off-use hours. SRYE 3004 is a bookable room that functions as a multifaith drop-in prayer space outside of booked hours. There are also Wudu/Ablutions located on level 1 in the SRYE building.
All are open to students, staff, and faculty! The access code can be recieved by contacting multi_faith@sfu.ca or calling 778.782.3180.
INTERNATIONAL SERVICES FOR STUDENTS (ISS)
The ISS provides various resources and advising on topics like immigration, and support for new students settling into Canada. You can also explore exchange and study abroad opportunities, and find support for students doing short-term studies at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV.
