¶¡ÏãÔ°AV at Central City (SRYC)
¶¡ÏãÔ°AV at Central City is a hub for academic, research and community engagement.
Located in the heart of Surrey’s city centre and easily accessible by transit, the university’s first Surrey campus building opened above Central City mall in Fall 2006. Designed by the late Bing Thom and adorned with Indigenous art contributed by Katzie and Semiahmoo First Nations, this award-winning building places the university on top of the mall, making the boundaries between the campus and community porous.
SRYC is home to a diverse number of faculties, departments, research centres and institutes, as well as state-of-the-art labs, a digital theatre, library, numerous classrooms and student study spaces, as well as an array of student services that includes academic advising, work-integrated learning, health and counselling and the Indigenous Student Centre.
