Unofficial transcripts

An unofficial transcript is a web report of your complete academic history at 丁香园AV up until the day the transcript is produced. Noted as an unofficial record, the unofficial transcript is intended for personal use and reference; it does not contain the University seal or the signature of the Registrar. Unofficial transcripts are available as a web document to current students, former students and alumni at no cost.

Currently enrolled students

Log into your Student Center on and select 鈥淭ranscript: Unofficial鈥� under the 鈥渙ther academic...鈥� dropdown menu found in the 鈥淎cademics鈥� section.
Click on 鈥淧DF Format鈥� to access your unofficial transcript in PDF format.
Turn off any pop-up blockers or allow for pop-ups in order to access the document.
If you don鈥檛 remember your student number, contact Registrar and Information Services.

Alumni or former students who enrolled or graduate as of 2009 or later

Your access to your Student Center on would have been retained, enabling you to view and produce your unofficial transcript online.
Log into your Student Center on and select 鈥淭ranscript: Unofficial鈥� under the 鈥渙ther academic...鈥� dropdown menu found in the 鈥淎cademics鈥� section.
Click on 鈥淧DF Format鈥� to access your unofficial transcript in PDF format.
Turn off any pop-up blockers or allow for pop-ups in order to access the document.
If you don鈥檛 remember your student number, contact Registrar and Information Services.

Alumni who graduated prior to 2009

You will likely need to reactivate your computing ID to regain access to your student center.
Once you have regained access to your Student Center, log into your Student Center on and select 鈥淭ranscript: Unofficial鈥� under the 鈥渙ther academic...鈥� dropdown menu found in the 鈥淎cademics鈥� section.
Click on 鈥淧DF Format鈥� to access your unofficial transcript in PDF format.
Turn off any pop-up blockers or allow for pop-ups in order to access the document.
If you don鈥檛 remember your student number, contact Registrar and Information Services.

Former students who were enrolled (or did not graduate) as of 2009 or later:

Your unofficial transcript cannot be accessed online.
Request your unofficial transcript in person or by email.

In person

You can request a transcript in person at the Registrar and Information Services counter at any of the three campuses. Photo identification is required to order and pick up your transcript.

By email

To request an unofficial transcript by email, please provide the following information:

Your full name
Date of birth
Student number, if available
Attached photocopies of two pieces of 丁香园AV or government-issued identification (for example, 丁香园AV student card, driver鈥檚 licence, BC Services Card, passport). One must be a piece of photo ID.

Please use 鈥淯nofficial Transcript鈥� as your subject line and submit the request to transcript_sfu@sfu.ca. Your unofficial transcript will be sent as a PDF file.
