March & April
Study permits
- If you're an international student and require a study permit to be eligible to study at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV, you'll need to submit an application—start early, as it can take some time to be processed. Find more details here.
#KNOWYOUR¶¡ÏãÔ°AV event
- You'll be invited to a big event on campus on April 24, 2025 to connect in-person with the ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV community, your faculty, current students, and more! Learn more and register here.
University Prep 1
- Complete University Prep, Step 1 course to prepare for your transition to ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV. Learn about our academic culture to help set you up for success, the range of supports and services available to ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV students, and more.
May
Deadline to accept your offer of admission
- The majority of offers must be accepted by May 1. For offers made after late April, please refer to the deadline in your admission offer letter.
Study permits
- If you're an international student, complete your study permit application before you arrive in Canada.
June
Get ready to enrol
- An email will be sent to your non-¶¡ÏãÔ°AV email address indicating that your ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV computing ID is ready for activation. You will need to activate your ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV computing ID to register for classes.
University Prep 2
- Complete University Prep, Step 2 to prepare for enrolment and learn how to build a balanced schedule, choose courses using go¶¡ÏãÔ°AV, and connect with an advisor.
July
Enrol and submit final documents
- Enrol in courses for the Fall term.
- New students starting in the Fall term will be able to get their Student ID card 24 hours after they have enrolled in courses.
- Deadline to submit final documents for admission.
August
Learn how to find your people and get involved
- Connect with others by participating in your HIVE group and complete your transition courses to learn all the information needed to start your first term at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV successfully!
September
Get ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV-ready
- Attend Welcome Day. Check back soon for event details.
- Participate in Month of Welcome. Check back soon for event details.
- Pay your tuition and fees, and get ready for your classes.

¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Residence and Housing
As a first-year undergraduate student, you'd be eligible for guaranteed housing starting in the Fall if you complete your application to ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Residence and Housing by May 1, 2025 and meet these requirements:
- You are to live on residence.
- Your pathway to ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV is direct from high school and you are not transferring from another post-secondary institution.
Study permits
International students currently in Canada or abroad, and who are not Canadian citizens, will need a valid study permit to be eligible to study at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV. These are a type of immigration document issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and can take several months to process, so we strongly recommend you complete your application as soon as possible before you arrive in Canada.
Please note: you'll first need to provide a provincial attestation letter (PAL) if you're applying for a new study permit from outside of Canada. If, however, you're already in Canada and are extending your study permit while still valid, you won't need to provide a PAL. You can check your requirement status through the .
