Campus tours give you an opportunity to spend some time with a knowledgeable student guide, who can:
- Lead you on a tour of key locations and notable spots for student use around campus
- Share insight into the student experience at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV beyond the classroom
- Answer your questions about student life, our supports and services, faculties, and more
We offer regular tours of ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Burnaby and ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Surrey campuses from Tuesday to Friday, and some Saturdays.

Learn about the land on which ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV is situated, academic programs and exciting projects within our faculties, meet current Indigenous students, and engage in culturally-relevant activities!
Self-guided campus tours
If you’d like to explore ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Burnaby campus at your own pace, stop by Student Central (just at the entrance of Maggie Benston Centre, in Convocation Mall) and pick up a copy of our self-guided campus tour brochure.
Tours typically take two hours to complete. You’ll first meet your student tour guide, along with the rest of the tour group for a brief introduction.
Meeting points
The tour will start and finish at the same location:
- If your tour is at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Burnaby, please meet at Student Central (MBC 3000 - located on the main level of the Maggie Benston Centre, across from the Library).
- If your tour is at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Surrey, please meet at the Welcome Centre (located next to Registrar and Information Services).
Tour route
The tour will involve plenty of walking and some stairs, so please come prepared wearing appropriate footwear. Your tour guide will optimize the route so that accessibility options are available, if needed.
New addition to our campus tours!
Starting this September, our campus tours will include assistance for prospective students in learning to navigate and understanding the application process for ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV. Your guide will provide a demonstration at the end of your tour.
- Assistance will be available to help you create your own EPBC account, making it easier for you to complete your application from home.
- Our student tour guides will be available to answer any questions you have about using the EPBC website.
- For inquiries about ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV programs, our team can connect you with faculty members and provide support in discussing your application.
Tour considerations
Our student tour guides do their best to balance facilitating group participation, answering a wide breadth of questions from visitors, and sharing campus knowledge along the many stops you’ll visit. To get the most out of your campus tour experience, please note:
- While your guide will lead an interesting tour around campus, they may not be able to take you to certain areas, such as spaces not open to visitors or appropriate for large groups, due to student privacy or safety hazards (such as lab environments).
- While we encourage you to ask your guide questions about ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV, they may not always be able to discuss certain topics in detail, such as admission requirements and specific program details.
- If you do have questions your guide isn’t able to answer, please connect with us after your tour.
- Lastly, we ask for your patience and to please be mindful of your group’s level of participation, as it can at times be overwhelming for your guide to discuss many topics and address questions all at once.
