KRYSTA COYLE

Dr. Krysta Coyle obtained her BSc in Microbiology & Immunology from UBC and developed a love for research while working as a co-op student in labs across Western Canada. She pursued PhD studies in Pathology at Dalhousie University. Krysta used a variety of in vitro and in vivo models, including patient-derived xenografts, to investigate gene regulation in response to retinoic acid.

Dr. Coyle came to ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV and joined Dr. Ryan Morin’s research group in September 2018. Her current research interests focus on alternative splicing as a mechanism of gene regulation in B-cell lymphomas. This work combines bioinformatics and molecular biology to understand how splicing affects lymphoma cell behavior.
