In this episode, SCA alumnus Howard Dai discusses working as a theatre artist post-pandemic.

From the silver linings of newfound opportunities that emerged to the challenges of adapting performance to Zoom, Howard Dai imparts his wisdom with a particular focus on the function and importance of community and collaboration.

Guest Bio:

Howard Dai is a Taiwanese actor and theatre artist. He was the 2022 digital-artist-in-residence with PuSh Festival and Royal Court Theatre (London, UK) with his new play ²¤Ì}üI°üPineapple Bun, supported by rice & beans theatre. He was most recently seen on stage as Banger in Jovanni Sy¡¯s The Five Vengeances (Affair of Honor). Other co-creation/performance credits include: Passenger Seat (Library Performance Co.); Îr×Ð Little Shrimp (Carousel Theatre); Collider (Single Thread Theatre); and New Societies (re:current theatre). He is an Associate Artist with rice & beans theatre, and is a graduate of ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV¡¯s School for the Contemporary Arts.
