DIRECTOR, IKB COACHING & CONSULTING

Indy Batth (she/her/hers) holds an M.A. in Education and is also an ICF-certified leadership coach (PCC) trained in executive, neuroscience and team/systems coaching. For over 25 years she has trained people to encourage inclusive leadership, build equitable teams, and create cultures of belonging. Her approach is relational, mindful and compassionate. She takes a stand for the integration of individual and systemic culture shift to create and sustain organizational transformation.

Indy’s work draws on perspectives and expertise derived from her lived experiences as a racialized woman; graduate work focused on anti-racist feminist theory and health and wellbeing; extensive experience in higher education; and coaching and facilitating in corporate, not-for-profit, financial, health care, community, and government sectors. She highlights the influence of intersecting social identities (race, gender, class, sexuality, etc.) and the systems and structures within which people’s lived experiences take place.

Integrating the art and science of coaching and facilitation she has successfully inspired anti-racist, anti-oppressive innovative approaches that helped clients increase their focus and clarity, make more effective decisions, manage stress and think more creatively. They leave her sessions with the skills and motivation to influence change at all levels – personal, interpersonal, team and organizational – to move things forward with increased motivation and meaning.

Leading in dynamic, complex, and uncertain times requires a different set of tools. Indy has training in Deep Diversity®, Deep Democracy, Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC), mindfulness, and a trauma-informed approach to wellbeing. She is certified to administer Emotional Intelligence (EQi-2.0), Power Intelligence® (DPI) and strengths (Clifton Strengths) assessments.

Indy identifies as a racialized, immigrant settler living in the Greater Vancouver Area of BC, the traditional territories of the Coast Salish people, specifically the QayQayt First Nations. She is an instructor and coach in both the Emerging Leaders and Executive Leadership certificate programs at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV, and a Mentor-Coach in the prestigious Certificate in Organizational Coaching program at UBC.
