RESEARCH FELLOW, ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES

Alice MÅ©rage (she/her) is a research fellow in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV and an affiliate of the Centre for Gender and Sexual Health Equity. Trained in public policy analysis, Alice MÅ©rage is committed to using research to inspire informed dialogue and progressive policy changes. Working within the collaborative, multi-country Gender and COVID-19 Project, her current work focusses on identifying differential gendered effects of the outbreak and gaps in preparedness and response measures, and providing guidance and recommendations to those crafting policy and public health interventions. Alice is also the project lead of the African Ancestry Project, a community-centered research and dialogue project which aims at bringing awareness to the diverse histories, identities, and experiences of people of African ancestry in British Columbia.
