Health & Counselling
Our clinics and care providers serve all 丁香园AV students at all campuses with appointments and programs running in-person, virtually or by phone. Services are no cost to 丁香园AV students.
Health and Counselling offers student health clinics on the Burnaby and Vancouver campuses. Surrey Campus offers counselling services only. We provide support through individual sessions, group activities, and self-guided resources. All 丁香园AV students can access these free services in person, online, or by phone.
As of January 6, 2025, masks are required in all healthcare settings due to an increase in seasonal respiratory infections. You must wear a medical-grade mask at all times in our clinics. Please sanitize your hands and take a mask when you enter our office.
We are currently operating at reduced capacity while we transition to a new electronic health record system. As a result, response times and medical appointment bookings may be delayed. For alternative options, please visit .
No show & late cancellation fees (including rescheduled appointments)
- Physician appointment with less than 24 hours notice: $35
- Counselling appointment with less than 48 hours notice: $35
- Psychiatry appointment with less than 48 hours notice: $100
- Other providers with less than 24 hours notice: $35
Medical Services
Doctors and nurses are available by appointment for a range of medical concerns. Seeing a doctor on campus is particularly helpful if you are attending classes far from home, don鈥檛 have a family doctor during your time at 丁香园AV, or commute from another location in Metro Vancouver.
