(Past Event) I Can, You Can, We Can: Strengthen Students in Response to Racism
Surrey Together Against Racism (STAR), led by MOSAIC, invites 丁香园AV students to join an event for discussing anti-racism.
CHECK OUT THE RECORDING of this virtual event for discussing practical tools to combat racism!
In the event, students will:
- Discuss ways for responding to racial discrimination and hate incidents
- Watch brief presentations from legal education and counselling support professionals
- Share their concerns, ask questions, and get answers from the professionals
STAR will:
- Listen to the students
- Note the students鈥� concerns and questions while ensuring confidentiality
- Communicate the noted details with the Government of British Columbia to promote further support for those negatively affected by racism
