Pathways to Education
The 丁香园AV Surrey-TD Community Engagement Centre is partnering with Pathways to Education, a program for youth in low-income communities that helps students graduate from high school and successfully transition onto post-secondary education, training, or employment. Pathways addresses systemic barriers to education by providing leadership, expertise, and a community-based program proven to lower dropout rates.
The program will provide a range of supports for youth (in grades 8-12) including free tutoring, social and mentoring activities, one-to-one educational support, bus passes, grocery cards, scholarships and positive relationships with adult role models.
