Biography

Alexis is a Ph.D. Candidate in Educational Technology and Learning Design in the Faculty of Education. With a background in international development and education, Alexis has utilized her expertise in quantitative and qualitative methods in numerous research and evaluation projects for organizations such as the Commonwealth of Learning, the Higher Education Commission - Government of Mauritius, Universities Canada and The International Development Research Centre. A lifelong learner, she has taken additional courses/programs in project management, data management, and gender-based analysis. Her doctoral research focuses on gendered experiences of technology-enabled learning in agricultural communities. She is excited to engage in more SoTL discussions and research with the teaching community at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV through her work in the TILT team!
