November 30: Support the United Way at the Surrey Book Sale!
Book sale date and time: Tuesday, November 30 | 10 AM - 2 PM
Location: SRYC Mezzanine
Last day for donations: Tuesday, November 23 | 4 PM
On Tuesday, November 30, 間眅埶AV Surrey will be hosting a book sale in support of the United Way of the Lower Mainland. This is a great opportunity to donate any gently used books, CDs, new or used board games and find something new to read or enjoy for a very low price all while raising much-needed funds for programs and services to help children, families, and seniors living in poverty.
Please drop off your donations at one of the nine donation boxes located around campus by Tuesday, November 23.
What can I donate?
To ensure the success of the sale, we ask that you please follow and share these guidelines when donating and/or receiving donations:
Please donate *gently used*
- Fiction books (novels of any genre, for young adult/adult audiences)
- Childrens books
- Non-fiction books (genre/subject should appeal to a broad audience)
- CDs, DVDs, LPs
- New or used board games and puzzles (please ensure no pieces are missing)
Not accepting
- Textbooks or teaching material
- Encyclopedias
- Magazines
- VHS or cassette tapes

There are NINE locations where you can drop of your gently used books and items at both SRYC and SRYE:
