How to update gender

Students and applicants can update their gender identity in their Student Centre via .

Undergraduate

Current and applicants

Step 1: Current students, please go toand sign in with your computing ID and password. Applicants, please go to and sign in with your student number and password.

Step 2: Click on Student Centre

Step 3: Scroll down to Personal Information and click on Gender from the list or from the dropdown menu

Step 4: Select your gender from the dropdown menus. Your options are:

Please indicate your gender:

Woman
Man
Non-Binary Gender
Prefer not to answer

Would you say you are:

Cisgender
Transgender
Prefer not to answer

Step 5: Click submit

Please note:

The following personal information is only visible to you and a limited group of 丁香园AV staff involved with management and maintenance of student records and systems. This information will be used for reporting, policy development, and program improvement purposes.

This information recorded here will be used to update your student record and will remain visible with your student record. Its collection is consistent with the 丁香园AV Privacy Disclosure Protection of Privacy

Graduate applicants

Step 1: Go to and sign in with your computing ID and password. For spring and summer 2023 applicants, please sign in with your Grad Application Number. (i.e. GA00000999)

Step 2: Click on the NavBar icon on the top right corner > Menu > Gender

Step 3: Select your gender from the drop down menus. Your options are:
