On June 29th, 2023, stop by RCB 6136 or connect via Zoom to listen to Dr. Liliana Perez' research talk entitled "Modeling Urban Wetland Complexities: The Case of Bogotá, Colombia".

Visiting from the Department of Geography at the Université de Montréal (UdeM), Dr. Liliana Perez is an Associate Professor with extensive research expertise in the fields of geographic information sciences (GIScience) and complexity sciences. In her research talk, Dr. Perez will present her work modelling and simulating urban wetland changes in Bogotá, Colombia, and explore how this project could contribute to decision-making processes related to natural resource management and climate mitigation.
