Biography

Dr. Karolina Papera Valente is the CEO & CSO at VoxCell BioInnovation. Karolina is also an Assistant Teaching Professor in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Victoria. She has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Valente has extensive experience in automation, tissue engineering, and 3D printing/bioprinting. She is also passionate about research, teaching, and science. She is a strong advocate for gender equity and women in STE
