Areas of interest
Audra completed her BSc in Geology at the University of Utah in 2022 and worked in various laboratories before returning to academia. Audra’s research will focus on determining the onset and extent of the Qualicum Canyon within the Upper Cretaceous Georgia Basin. Using paleocurrent and detrital zircon data, she will be working to resolve the question of the extent and timing of the canyon, which is a major paleo-transport pathway for sediment from the Georgia Basin into the Pacific Ocean.
