Graduate students in the Department of Earth Sciences are at the heart of our mission to conduct innovative research that shapes the way in which we understand Earth’s evolution and positions us to address the growing challenges of resource security and sustainability, climate change and natural hazards. We offer thesis-based M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in a variety of disciplines. Our graduate students have access to state-of-the-art research equipment and facilities, and are involved in field-based, laboratory and computational research.
