Areas of interest

I am originally from Montréal, QC, and am moving to Vancouver from London in the UK where I have been living for the last four years and where I completed my bachelor's and integrated master's degree in Earth Sciences at University College London. My master's research project was on the use of remote sensing data to characterise sea ice roughness in the Canadian Arctic at the locality of Pond Inlet. For my PhD, my research will focus more on the terrestrial cryosphere, in glaciology. I am especially interested in the evolution of glaciers with climate change and the effects on their related hydrology. I am hoping to study the Overlord Glacier which is located to the southeast of Whistler Blackcomb; its evolution has implications for both the ecosystem's flora and fauna, as well as human hazards due to its importance in the Fitzsimmons Creek catchment.
