Areas of interest
I am using remote sensing Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) combined with field work to refine the movements of the Cordilleran Ice Sheet during the last ice age in Southwestern BC. Previous work in the area shows that the mountains valleys and Fraser river valley were not consistently glaciated at the same time. I’ll be examining local mountain valleys and making a more detailed map of the glacial limits of the Cordilleran Ice Sheet.
