Areas of interest

Multidisciplinary geophysics, Tectonic Structure and Evolution of Orogenic Belts, Continental Basins and Ocean Margins.

Nathan Hayward is a Research Scientist with the Geological Survey of Canada, Pacific-Vancouver. His multidisciplinary research focuses on the application of geophysical modeling and inversion, integrated with broad geological constraints, to the investigation of tectonics and crustal structure. Primarily, his research explores the structure and development of orogenic belts, including the Northern Canadian Cordillera and Great Bear magmatic zone, continental basins and ocean margins, tectonic impacts on landscape evolution, and the geothermal potential of plutonic rocks.
