Courses in French

The Department of French offers a variety of courses to suit your level of French. Whether to improve your speaking and writing skills or to gain a greater appreciation of French cultures, these courses can help fulfill your requirements. Elective courses taught in French

Elective courses in French, offered by other ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV departments or faculties are ideal for students with an intermediate level of French (e.g. graduates from French immersion, the Programme francophone, etc.). Some courses offer the flexibility of submitting your assignments and writing exams in the language of your choice (English or French), while others require you to do so only in French. Some of these elective courses go toward satisfying the , which apply to all ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV students. These courses are often indicated by the F100 section. Contact fcpmgr@sfu.ca to learn more.
