Finally, learning German can also lead you to pursue Higher Education in Germany. In most German provinces (Länder) universities don’t charge tuition fees. The exceptions are in Sachsen-Anhalt where the universities can decide if they want to charge tuition or not, in Bavaria where if you concurrently work in your degree field you will have to pay tuition, and at private universities.

100 Level German Courses
By tackling German 100 and 110 you will conquer the A1 level of the CEFR*. But what does that really mean? It means that you will be able to:
· master everyday language and simple phrases for those urgent moments.
· easily introduce yourself and others, and chat about basic personal aspects like where you live, what you have, and who you know.
· keep conversations going, especially if the other person takes it slow and clear.
200 Level German Courses
By enrolling in German 200 and 210 you will be able to complete the A2 level.
Here you will be able to:
• grasp sentences and common phrases that matter right now, like basic personal information, family, weather, local geography, and important celebrations.
• easily communicate in simple tasks and exchange straightforward information on familiar topics.
• describe your background, what is happening around you, and anything else you need to know in simple terms.
300 Level German Courses
Finally, taking German 300 moves you to the B1 level.
Here you will be able to:
• grasp the main ideas of clear information on everyday topics encountered in work, school, and leisure.
• handle most situations when traveling in a place where the language is spoken.
• share your thoughts and write simple, connected text about topics you know well or are passionate about.
• express yourself and describe experiences, dreams, and ambitions, and briefly explain your opinions and plans.
