With its stunning architecture, generous natural light, ergonomic furnishings and state-of-the-art technology, the Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue was originally built as a Toronto Dominion Bank in 1920.

Since opening in 2000 as part of ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV’s Vancouver Campus, the Wosk Centre for Dialogue was designed specifically for meetings and conferences that facilitates dialogue and enhance interaction and has hosted thousands of local, national and international gatherings.

Asia Pacific Hall (100)

Asia Pacific Hall is a dramatic and inspiring space designed for dialogue and interaction, featuring natural light from the 16-foot heritage windows and a magnificent 26-foot coffered heritage ceiling. Five concentric tiers provide generous seating in leather ergonomic chairs for 154 delegates, with a built-in microphone at every seat. Optional technology at each desk includes simultaneous language interpretation and internet connection. All multimedia presentations, including videoconferencing, are shown on large opposing screens that are visible from all chairs. Dual projection is provided by high-resolution systems.

Features of Asia Pacific Hall:
  • Adjustable leather ergonomic chairs with seating for 154. Additional seating for up to 20 can be set up on the west side of the hall.
  • Desks wired with 100 Mbps internet connection (wireless also available).
  • Individual microphones--everyone has a voice.
  • Built-in simultaneous language interpretation for up to five languages (UN compliant).
  • Videoconference-capable for up to 154 participants. This built-in system allows for easy activation--extend your meeting to the world.
  • Dual projection on opposing screens for unobstructed viewing.
  • Two meeting chair positions and four additional presenter stations provide options for conference design, depending on your agenda and the number of delegates/speakers.

With flexible capacity and configuration options for meetings, lectures, dining or exhibits, this area can be divided into one, two or three sections with attractive, soundproof and movable walls. This elegant space is ideal for catered functions.

Each salon features its own projection screen and high-lumen LCD projector suspended from the ceiling, allowing for individual meeting spaces or multi-screen opportunities in the larger space.

A granite refreshment counter allows for in-room catering, with a gallery area immediately outside the meeting room as an alternate food service space. Strategy rooms provide convenient floor and wall plugs for electrical and data connections. Features comfortable, low-back leather ergonomic chairs.

Hamber Foundation Executive Meeting Room (470)

These rooms feature 795 square feet of highly flexible meeting space with built-in electronic projection screens, internet and telephone connections, tackable wall surfaces, a built-in whiteboard and natural light. Room #470, on the fourth floor, provides low-back leather ergonomic chairs. 

Samuel & Frances Belzberg Atrium (105)

The soaring, light-filled Belzberg Atrium is the main entrance to the conference centre and provides a spectacular 67-foot glass backdrop where delegates can gather between meetings. Clients using Asia Pacific Hall for their conference can enjoy use of the Belzberg Atrium for registration, breaks and receptions.
