Peter Bradshaw, MSc ('20), PhD ('22)
Peter Bradshaw studied graph theory as a master's and PhD student at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV, and he graduated in 2022. Now, he is working as a postdoctoral researcher at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he teaches undergraduate students and works on new research problems. He also participates in several programs aimed at introducing undergraduate students to mathematical research.
Peter says that the faculty at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV offered valuable support in cultivating the skill of thinking critically about math and developing new methods and solutions to existing problems. "My advisors constantly encouraged me to research problems that interested me, and they offered valuable feedback on the ideas that I shared with them," he says. "Their support gave me the confidence to come up with my own ways of solving problems, which allowed me to grow as a researcher."
After completing his postdoctoral position, Peter hopes to find a tenure-track job.
