Michael Friesen Awarded Certificate "With Distinction"

Michael Friesen defended his MSc thesis titled Low rank quadratic assignment problem: Formulations and experimental analysis on August 26, 2019, and has received the certificate "With Distinction" for his achievement.
The examining committee found Michael's thesis exceeded expectations in a number of categories, showing that he achieved a mastery of the subject area and produced highly original results. Michael is the co-author of a paper currently accepted for publication, based on the results in Chapter 2 of his thesis, and is working on another publication based on the results in Chapter 3.
