Fall 2017

Diversity and unity are the two magical words that can make any project succeed.
Martine Rothblatt, Founder, chairperson, and CEO, Sirius Satellite Radio

The value of diverse teams is understood but solutions are still needed to ensure the participation of women and other under-represented groups.

However, increasing the participation of these groups in technology fields is a challenging societal problem it is about changing our culture and how we see gender roles.

This lecture series aims to educate participants on the challenges and solutions that have been identified to improve diversity in hiring, retention, and promotion to leadership roles.

We invite you to join us in Women in Technology: Attracting, Retaining and Promoting Diverse Talent to explore strategies for advancing diversity in the technology sector, critically analyze the culture that has supported a foundation of inequality therein, and engage in multidisciplinary dialogue about the value of creating more space for women and other under-represented groups in technology.
